Jean-Pierre Fleury

Image Creator

His photographic work resembles that of a painter or sculptor. He handles his cameras the way an artist uses brushes or chisels—not to capture what he sees, but to express what he feels.

He prefers to speak of images rather than photographs. As he often says, image is an anagram of magic.

Photographer of the Imagination

His creations are like abstract paintings—gateways to the imagination, seeking the extraordinary in the ordinary, the fantastic in the everyday, and magic in reality.

He plays with blur, juggles with shadows, and opens doors to new worlds—often just beyond the mirror of reality.

He has no interest in winning prizes or entering competitions. Instead, he seeks to share his aesthetic vision of the world with as many people as possible. Several of his image series are permanently available on his website and Instagram, and can also be found in private collections in France, Portugal, Spain, the UK, Luxembourg, Switzerland, India, and China.

Discover his universe through Abstractions oniriques, Grandes bouffées d’art frais, his interpretation of Lucretius’ De natura rerum, Fantasmagories, Murs murs, Hommage aux grands maîtres, Distorsions, and Polyptyques.

His work is widely admired and deeply appreciated.
